The King Edward Memorial Hospital Alumni was born in 2011 – the hospital’s 95^th year.

It is an independent non profit incorporated association founded on the belief that current and past staff members, students, graduates and volunteers have valuable experience to offer mentoring and retaining new staff. The Alumni provides a forum for education, fellowship and the exchange of ideas, through social, educational and fundraising events.

King Edward Memorial Hospital touches the hearts of all who work there and many are reluctant to leave.

EDITH COWAN AWARD of $1000

The KEMH Alumni are proud to announce the EDITH COWAN AWARD – applications accepted now – Edith Cowan Award application flier 2026.pdf

This award will provide up to $1000 for conference attendance/further study that supports and enables excellence in care to women, their infants and families.

All current staff members of the Women and Newborn Health Service are eligible to apply for the award.
